I’m Ben Hilton. I built Bahama Papa’s Home Solutions so I can take on custom woodworking and remodeling the right way — one project at a time, from a shop I built myself.

A full house. A family shop.

I’m a father of nine. With my wife Michelle, I also run Bahama Mama’s Shaved Ice, our family food-truck business. Evenings and Saturdays are when the shop runs. I recently finished this woodworking barn so I have a real place to cut, assemble, and finish work instead of keeping it all in a truck bed.

What I can help you build.

I design and build custom closets and pantries, built-in libraries, entertainment walls, French doors, shiplap, custom beds, pergolas and ceiling accents. I install laminate flooring and spiral stairs. I also convert attics — those are winter projects, with significant planning for HVAC, insulation, electrical, drywall, texture and flooring.

I live and work in Katy, TX, and I take projects within about 5 miles of Bahama Mama’s Shaved Ice, 24811 Westheimer Pkwy, Katy, TX 77494. I’ll walk the space with you on a weeknight, write the job as Materials + Project Construction + Finishing, and schedule Saturdays to build, with dedicated weekday half-days as available, until it is done.
